From Fireworks to BBQs the 4th of July is a great opportunity to make or keep family traditions. Here are some family traditions that we enjoy:

4TH of JULY BBQ
Here are some ideas for a classic American BBQ: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Macaroni & Cheese, Corn on the Cob, Veggies and Dip: (Carrots, Cucumbers, Peppers), Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Pasta Salad, Lemonade, Iced Tea, Beer, Sodas, and Red White & Blue Jello Cups (see below). And don’t forget the ketchup, mustard, and other condiments!

RED, WHITE & BLUE JELLO CUPS
A quick and easy patriotic dessert can be made by simply making 1 box of red jello, one box of blue jello, and purchasing a tub of Cool Whip. Use clear plastic cups and put blue jello on the bottom, then a layer of cool whip, then a layer of red jello, and top it off with additional Cool Whip. You can add strawberries and/or blueberries as well.

A CAMPFIRE & S’MORES
Buy a box of graham crackers, hersheys chocolate bars, and marshmallows! Whether you have a fire pit in your backyard, or a portable firepit, everyone loves S’mores! You can change it up and use Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Cookies and Cream Chocolate bars, or other varieties.

FIREWORKS
Whether you set off fireworks at home or head out to a show, it is a great way to make memories with your family. Fireworks are not for every person, or every pet, so be mindful of setting off fireworks at home.
